Azienda Agricola Poggetto

Poggetto is an over 300 years old Farmhouse, completely restored by its resident owners, in the Classic Chianti area of Central Tuscany. It is located close to the historical cities of Siena, Florence, San Gimignano and Volterra. The Farmhouse has only two apartments to rent, therefore privacy and a perfect relaxation are guaranteed for people who want to get away from the crowd. The famous small village of Castellina in Chianti with its shops and restaurants only 5 km from Poggetto. The property has 20 ha land, with over 1500 olive trees and a vineyard. The Extra Virgin Olive Oil and the Chianti wine is produced on the farm and can be purchased directly from the owners. There is a kitchen garden, and in a large fenced area, (not very close to the house) chickens, ducks and rabbits are grazing happily.
A new large swimming-pool with panoramic view has been recently added to the property. (size: 14 x 6 meters - about 45' x 18 ') with shower, dressing-room and rest-room. Lunch or dinner is available for our guests on previous order.

The apartments are rented by week, off season also for weekends. Arrival and departure on Saturday.
