Borgo Collelungo

The Borgo Collelungo is an ancient stone hamlet which has been transformed into a cluster of comfortable apartments with interior finishings in terracotta, and furnishings typical of the Tuscan country style. Its position in the hills surrounding the Montaione area, at about 300 mt above sea level, is particularly convenient for those wishing to visit the most famous Tuscan cities and towns, such as Florence, Siena, Pisa, Volterra, San Gimignano, Certaldo, Vinci and many other lesser-known villages well worth a visit.The restructuring and restoration work on Borgo Collelungo was completed in 1996. It is now composed of 16 apartments with two to four rooms.The apartments have all modern comforts, with separate heating (some also have fireplaces), television and fully-functioning kitchens including refrigerators and coffee machines. All of the apartments have garden furniture with table and chairs, and a barbecue.Collelungo is ideal both for those wishing to relax in a quiet and enchanting corner of Tuscany, as well as for those intending to engage in fun sports activities to stay in shape, such as trekking, mountain-biking, horseriding or golf.
