 "La Chiusetta" is a beautifully restored farm at the foot of the Umbrian village of Sugano, between the spring waters of the River Tione. There are magnificent views of Orvieto ,it is truly an area of outstanding natural beauty. The property dominates the valley of Orvieto, right up to mountain and is enclosed by wooded hills ,vineyards and olive groves. Sweet chestnut woods surround our farm of 26 aerea We have extensive gardens, welcoming pergolas, a smail lake and a swimming pool with wonderful scenic views. On the farm we produce Orvieto DOC red wine and extra virgin olive oil. We also breed riding horses and small farm animals. The accommodation is provided in three restored stone farmhouses dating from the late 1900s to the early 20th century. Each of these "Casale" has been renovated to respect the history and traditions of the area and maintain the names of the farmers that originally lived here. We have taken great care to ensure that the décor of each Casale has been sympathetically created through many years of patient research, careful collection of antiques and the skills of furniture restorers.
